Writing is hard.
Don't let anyone let you think otherwise. I mean, it can be easy, but it can be hard all at the same time. There's so much you have to do when writing. You have to make sure there's no plot holes, make sure you cover your bases. There's also the times where your muse won't cooperate, won't listen and tell you to shove it as she (or he!) crawls away under your bed to hide.
Thanks, muse. Just when I need you the most.
I'm behind in NaNoWriMo. Starting tomorrow, I'll have two days to get to 22k. I'm not exactly complaining. I can do it. But not when she's being a butt and hiding under my bed while ignoring my calls.
Pretty much, I'm having trouble putting the words down. Then again, I'm switching from first person present tense to third person past tense.
And that's hard.
Plus I have three POVs this time instead of one.
I'm still working on #butterflies, but I decided to do NaNo this year. I have little under 2k to write for #butterflies, and then some, but I wanted to get this idea done so I didn't have to worry about it later, which is why I am doing NaNo. Usually I say I'll do it, then I don't (I have another idea, but looks like I'll do it for next NaNo; there's a little too much I have to research for it first before I even think about attempting it). It's what I did last year.
I'm great at that. I need to stop doing that.
Though, luckily, this time, I have an outline written, so at least I have some kind of an idea of where this story is going. It's just getting it written and having my muse listen for once.
Hello, muse. Come out, come out. It's time to play. Oh, where, oh, where has she gone?
I think she hates me. :(
